Hello gents,
Sgoti - you are 100% correct. The only different one is KC/RC-135 with narrower fuselage. I don't have got any good drawings/plans of KC-135 but I suppose that the nose/cabine may still be the same and it gets only slightly narrower where it joints with narrower fuselage. (???) Maybe somebody can correct me if I am wrong? Kind regards Cybermac |

I always thought the KC/RC-135 was based off the 707.
I could be wrong...

He,if it ain't broken don't fix it.Right?Much like most of Airbus designs can be traced back to A300.Major differences are under skin and wings. |

Here is a diagram I've seen numerous times on the difference in profiles between the Dash-80, 135, and 707.

Hello gents,
Just to prove that 737 is not abandoned - I have started applying LOT colors on the front parts of 737... kind regards & Happy Easter! Cybermac |

Hello gents,
Herky - thank you for your kind words! scon10 - I just wonder if that would be possible to use a B-737 nose/cabin and adjust only 2-3 segments after the cabin to join it with the 'oval' fuselage to get the KC-135, or the are totally different/smaller type?? By the way I just wonder if anybody seen B-707 & KC-135 next to each other in any aviation museum next to each other?? (I have seen E-3, E-6 & KC-135R at Fairford, but never could get any proper clear photo from the side.) Anyway, it doesn't happen often, but hey ho, I had couple of hours without 'any members of family' and I could do one whole segment. I am hoping to bring the whole 1/48 model to this type of quality. kind regards Cybermac |

Cybermac, using the 737 nose should probably fit the oval shaped mid fuselage of a KC-135, but make sure you delete any constriction of the fuselage sides at the floorlevel of the 737.
