and switched back to front wheel bay to add details:

still needs two hydraulics pums, hinges and lots of plumbing, however, plumbing will be drawn, or made of colored wire(s), probably wires for 3d effect

A beautiful plane fully deserving the detail your putting into it, promising to be a fine model.

i simply must agree with both of you

here is a bit of morning update, i think i finished gear bays, let me know if i missed something major :D

and now, off to main weapons bay. here, im not sure what to do. Far as i know, prototypes had rail launching system, that worked somehow like that: in order to fire weapons, first had to be launched upper weapons. bloody unpractical if you ask me, since if you want to get to the bombs that could be stored below all sidewinders, amraams, you should fire those beforehand :D

so the question: should i make this classic rail system (no references anyways)
or should i make rotary launcher, such as on b-2?

regards,
Marko

I think the rotary launcher would be a more practical implementation, especially if it were rotatable on the model....

there, i saved it as a separate file, and gave a shot to rotary launcher, there wont be much space due to cannon bay and avionics, but id really like to keep those, so armament will remain limited to AA rockets, and smaller GP and GBU bombs. most likely ill add as options following: aim-9, aim-120, MK-83 (upgraded to JDAM), GBU-12
the angle of the bomb bay doors is slightly bigger than 90°, but that is still adjustable though..

another option is always posibility of external stores, but we'll se about that

here we go, now it does look much more busy

launcher has been made based on b-2's rotary launcher, of course it was modified to fit into the bay, and to accomodate weapons.

still i have to add reinforcement ribs (like those on the real bomb bays) few more bits and pieces here and there and that is roughly it

regards,
Marko
