Me too! The cockpit looks incredible! Many say this is the plane that should have been made. Those wing tip vortices would have easily been fixed.

Unlikely it could be any more grounded two decades later than the F-22...just just looking wistfully at my plastic one the other night...very night lines...

I know this makes no difference, I just think it is a beautiful plane. The F-22 is an awesome bird, but it is stodgy compared to this Bird of Prey. Aesthetics are subjective of course, and I don't have enough knowledge to know which was the better choice, but the YF-23 is just plane "purdy".

There is some expectation that the YF-23 evolved into an aircraft similar to this:
