Thanks for those links, ...that I realised the 4B model I'm designing isn't actually being used by BOAC... That means I'll have to do another set of marking for BEA which was actualy using it... I also hope to release an uncoloured version for any other intended markings. Anyway...

Completed the wingroot and tailfins today, the jet's shape is coming out nicely, --I say airliner's wingroots are an absolute beast to deal with, both for designers and modelers!! = = But hopefully I'll start making unrollable surfaces soon, really didn't expect things to go so quickly

Much of the parts are finished now, only need details such as intake interiors and landing gears. Bad news is I can't use my laptop for the next 3 weeks... --Anyway it's probably a good thing when you need to do some revision...

Just to show I'm still working on it... Done the panel lines for the fuselage and tailfins, much more are needed on the wings (why does airliners have soooo many panel lines anyway?...) Next up is the landing gear, scon's reference site really helped a LOT!! Thanks again...

More pics will follow

Thanx!
Normally, I don't follow aircraft, but I noticed it was your thread Lex, so I decided to check it out.
Looking good!

Excellent work so far and I'd like to get my hands on a copy. I love these aircraft, all versions of them, but the dash 4 is my favorite. Yours is beautiful.

While you're at it, and when the -4 is ready, in the BEA livery, will you make an adaption and make a -3 in BOAC livery, with those beautiful wing leading edge tanks?
I'll look forward to both of them!
Good luck,
Scon10

Actually, since the 3-version is not mass-produced, (um... or is it?) I think I'll have the 4C variant with BOAC markings with that beautiful leading edge fuel tank ^O^ And also a 2-variant for other repaints.
