More progress... at last!

Hi all, I think I've suffered some "model design fatigue syndrome"... Basically when a model is halfway to completion, with all the major parts in place but missing various bits and pieces, you look at it and think the end is so close, but then when you start working on it you found out that there's a hell lot of work ahead, and so you are dismayed and stop......... So I didn't start working till this week......... (Well the real reason for the delay is actually a broken laptop FYI )

Anyway... The model design is completed and unfolding is almost done, I'll print off the lined development and report back the testbuild progress, (if the internet speed in China permits me doing that...) More colouring works ahead......

Glad to see that you are continuing to develop this model. The latest graphics look very good.

Ah, this is going to be sooo beautiful! Even if the pictures are a bit small, it seems that the enines and wing will be a modellers delight! Also the cockpit technique is intriguing!
Can't wait.

Thanks guys! After the J-10 I learned a lot in model design and this time I tries to make something that isn't tough for the modeller to build -- at least, I tried All graphics will be vector except the British flag and the Royal Mail insignia.

Model file is complete now, --plenty of instructions to go though >_<

Micromodels

With the upsurge in Micromodels, Marcle Models have some of the original sets. At present I am working on Hampton Court Palace, two sets are original, they are marked 3s 4p! and the third is an ink jet repro and one can't tell the difference. They cost £17. After four hours work, I've covered 5 x 5cm and the base is 16 x19cm so theres lot to do. I made some of the originals in 1946. Oh to be sixteen again!!!

Good work on the Comet, Lex! It's such a lovely airplane.

Photos, Ken! We must have photos of the Hampton Court Palace in progress!

his project will be really special. The graphics are really good so far! It'll be really interesting to see how the scale comes out. Where are the pix of the cockpit? I missed them, and someone mentioned an 'interesting approach,' which i'd like to see.
