I know I am not alone living near Houston. But if you need something photographed from the original - just let me know!

I'm guessing Darwin may have gotten side-tracked on this one. I understand that completely as I look at my 60% complete Helena sitting on the shelf, that has taken a long backseat to other projects. :-(

I second that notion, Mark...

I walk into my study every day, and take a look at that 85% complete Montana hull, and think "I really don't want to fool with that right now"... I know I'll go back and put the few missing hull plates on, and then move on to the superstructure, but it won't be tomorrow. Maybe in the next couple of weeks...

You guys have it right....I've been suffering from a massive case of builder's block. All the bitty parts to go....

Somehow I missed the beginning of this epic. No pressure, Darwin, but I do look forward to seeing this one progress.

eib, lancer and Darwin...wow, snap!! That's exactly how I feel every time I look at the cut out parts for the Udarnuj...I back to working from home for a few week so not living on the go out of a bag and have all my tools etc here, so not really any excuse except "I must get back into that..."...

Itty Bitty Parts....

Man, that's all I can see when I look at that paper beast of a ship sitting on my workbench. If I didn't have to build 10 5" mounts, and upwards of 20+ 40mm mounts, and upwards of 40+ 20mm mounts, along with all those dang boats and other hardware, I think it wouldn't be so bad.

And Darwin... I don't envy the casemates. That's one thing that absolutely stopped me from doing the Virginia-class BBs first. I just couldn't get my head around the 12 of them. Not to mention those stupid superposed turrets.

Let me echo the noble Mr. Boose, and tell you:

NO PRESSURE!

We're all behind you here...

I'll second that sentiment Charles. We're all behind you Darwin, all things come in good time. Sometimes I have to divert into other projects to re-energize my interest in card modeling.

SHOCKING! I know. :-)

I agree with all, Darwin, we are all behind you and fully understand how projects get waylaid from time to time. I obviously did not mean to imply any pressure, I was just curious.

Steady as she goes, mate!

Cheers!

The grand ole ship turns 100 this year. I flew over her on Saturday.
