Trireme I think there has been a vote to design one

I think well I kind of posted a pictue of a trireme, so have to say this idea interests me a lot. so a card model of a type of ship that was the most powerful weapon at sea two and a half years ago. Not sure has anyone done one in fact I know lots have it is one of them ships most likely done for a class project. I know I did in about 1974 so hey it is about time I went back and tried another one.

I look forward to seeing this project come together.

Not too sure about it being "the most powerful weapon at sea two and a half years ago" though.

There is a basic trireme in some small scale. It is not an enthusiast kit. It's basically a cereal box type kit.

Schreiber makes a bireme in an unknown scale, but I know it's small because I built it last year.

oh typo error i forgot to put the thousand years. cd i found somes site that has plans to build it from wood so that is going to help. and says it is scale 1:72 says on the site that all plans can be used to build for non commericial use. looks in fact to have so good plans for doing wood models i think it could be a great source in fact for anyone thinkng of doing a card model or some subjects. I know it will take a bit of work to do the hull and things but at least these plans can be of some use if not totally at least a little bit. Stavebnice historických lodí , Historic ship models

Let me weigh in as well with my interest in a well-designed trireme or bireme model.

I have a full set of plans for the Olympia that I can reproduce as well as photographs. I would love to see that designed so that all I have to do is build it. Let me know if I can be of assistance.
