XB-35 Design thread

Well, it doesn't look like much, but here it is so far:

Scale: 1/32. Yes, it will be BIG. I'm counting on it's shape to keep it within reason. It will be four feet wide, but only fifteen inches long! :P This one has high priority since it seems to be a much requested subject.

Oh, and before anyone asks, YES I will be doing a YB-49 too. Actually, that might even come first since it's a bit easier.

That's what I'm talking about!! The good part is, with the wing done, you're 90% there! LOL Very happy to see this one!

Small update, as you can see, I am struggling with how to wrestle the engines into the correct shape. Actually, prop shaft casings would be more accurate since the motors themselves were buried in the wings.

Looking quite good. I think you're headed in the right direction on the housings.

This is looking fantastic! Are you going to model the cockpit interior?

I can't tell you just how pleased I am to see you designing this and the KB-50 in 1:32 scale. It is always easier to print a model at a reduced scale and for those of us with troll fists the larger scale models are muchly appreciated. I would think your biggest challenge will be an internal structure robust enough to support that long wing span. Keep up the good work - I will be looking for this at eCardmodels soon!
