Great car, I took my first driver's test in one. Would love to give it a shot, but I'm leaving for vacation in the morning and will be offline for about 2 weeks. Good luck with it.

Very nice
Oh yes, very nice. Dad had a '63 LeSabre for our family car for many years. They knew how to make cars back then . If I ever think again about finding a classic, my pick will be a third-gen Riveria boat-tail in Fawn Mist.
Looking forward to seeing the built model. John |

You realize the post is from 2010, right?
And Extreme-Paper's last login was in 2011. So...

LOL 2010!
Thats okay...the photo might be a Riv but the drawing isn't... might be a later Pontiac?...or maybe an Olds? Looks more like a Gutlass. There seems to be some confusion here. There are a lot of physical differences.

Just a pretty picture

Oops. Note to self - make appointment for eye exam . Funny how a pretty picture can get some old guy so excited . But I still would love to see a boat-tail someday . John |

The narrow grille, and wildly inboard headlamps had me stumped,
but the body style looks more like a later (1968/1969) Riviera! My mistake (that it is a Riviera) just not as early as the first photo. 2nd Generation Riviera model is considerably different to the '63 (1st Generation).
