Exporting!

Gah! I've been trying to get better quality pieces when I export from pepakura to Gimp, Paint.Net, and Paint. However, whenever I do, the quality is HORRIBLE. What do you guys do to fix this?

Do I have to purchase the High Resolution Exporter to? :-\

Re: Exporting!

Yes, I do the same process through pdf in 600dpi. Then I reduce the resolution to 300dpi.

Re: Exporting!

I print the design on c**p paper and scan it back into photoshop at 300/600 dpi wastes paper but you can use both sides 72 dpi is a waste of space.

Re: Exporting!

Soaring,
the Ghost script is included in Gimp if you are in Linux environment. Otherwise in Windows you have to install Ghostscript (freely).

I wrote a tutorial here
