Lining Dimensions

Hi everyone, it's been a while, I'll get back into designing products for the next year

Anyways, I'm asking any Meta users, if there is a way to line up the grids and axis's automatically. Rather than using the mouse to manually line it up. For example...

I need to know if it's possible, because I've gotten back into designing by "drawing". Ever since I took the chance and look back at all the gundam models out there... And lining up the grids is really getting me mad, so....

Re: Lining Dimensions

I use F1, F2 and F3. If you use shift it will reverse them.

Re: Lining Dimensions

I'm sorry, I tried using F1, F2, and F3, but nothing seems to work. Am I reading your response wrong? Are you saying F1 corresponds to a grid, and so on until F3? And if I press F1-F3 it will line? OTherwise I'm doing something wrong :/

Re: Lining Dimensions

Just to make sure we are speaking about the same thing.

Here's a model of a hand.

When I press F1, F2 and F3 respectivly I get the results as seen below.

Is this what you mean?

Cheers JTF

Yes! Exactly what I need! And Thank you Very much! My keys now work, and my faces are showing! I had to restore my computer just to get Meta reworking, but, thank you JT Fox. I can't tell you how much this will help me, you've just granted me my Christmass Side wish

Re: Lining Dimensions

nice hand, making a model of one? You can title it "talk to the hand" I am sure my kid would use it all the time

Re: Lining Dimensions

I think that hand is one of the pre-made models given in the Meta DL Pack. :-\

Yes indeed. There's a nice tank in there as well.
