I have here more ideas how to make your paper model cars move!
I have drawing of images to help you out to figure on steps to do little by little hand drawing of on how to build your model wheels on axles to make them all rotate and roll on the floor even a little kid would get a kick out of it. so I'm going to post pages of on how to make your wheels and axles that will move on cardstock I recommended 110lb thick cardstock it's good for a testing a tube length! so I'm going to post just parts of the model pages on only 3 pages! in the next post that I posted up with steps and ways of making them work wonders!

Nice little tutorial. With some fiddling around, it might work for railway related builds as well!

Most of our wheeled vehicle models come with simple triangular axles, and many folks just glue the wheels to the ends. It is possible to insert a tooth-pick or length of paper-clip inside the triangular axles, and the wheels are then attached to them. I've only bothered to do it once, but I was pleased with the results. Going mini-RC would be the next step.

I've done basically the same thing but I used a milkshake plastic straw glued to the frame and inserted a smaller plastic drink straw through the first straw and glued on the wheels. Its free materials and recycling. Just cut the milkshake straw shorter than the axle drink straw.

Here is an idea that will work, it even opens up the means to do a hubcap

I never did have any luck making paper tubes. I use bamboo skewers (little wood sticks)
