Question parent objects help

Does anyone know how to group objects in metasequoia? I dont want to merge several objects into 1 object. I want to create a parent object and have several objects attached as children.(think of it as grouping layers) metaseqoia has this ability i just cant find how to do it. I tried internet search but didnt find what i was looking for.

Well, i found my answer. just started pushing buttons and the solution presented itself. for those who may want to know- there ar two arrow butons ( <,> ). pushing > will attach current selected object to the object directly above it. clicking < will ungroup selected object. you can move objects up or down the list by click dragging.

META also allows for "empty" parent objects. (i.e. there are no vertices or surfaces defined inside the object)
I sometimes use these empty objects as place holders for grouping together other objects.
For instance - Landing Gears.
This logical grouping will allow you to quickly hide/show groups of objects.

Word of caution though. If you're using Pepakura with empty objects, you'll get a "x Objects dropped" message every time you try to open your MQO in Pepakura.

A bit off topic :
I noticed from your screenshot that the lines / edges of the model display are very rough. There's a setting in Meta that would allow you to enable display anti-aliasing. This should soften the jagged edges and make the display smoother.
