Help locating a font

Hi all,
I need a font that is simple and easy to know EXACTLY what the character is regardless of rotation. Since I will be using the characters mostly by themselves, there needs to be definite difference between a capital "I" and the number "1" and the number six and the number nine.

The font should be bold enough to see all of the lines and curves that make up the character but have enough white space to distinguish the character if it is reduced in size, such as 6 or even 4 point.

Here is an example of what I'm trying to achieve, but I had to use three different fonts. The "9" is a bit wonky, but I hope you get the idea. Thanks for any help, oh yeah, if it's a free font, all the better!

For numbers try the MICR E-13B Font used on checks.



You will need to use a different font for letters.

Reread the post and realized Font Identification wasn't what you had asked for, sorry.

I agree with Zakopius. What you want are "Machine Readable" Fonts as per this page;

Fontscape Home > Application > Machine-readable

OCR (Optical Character Reader) fonts were standardized in the late 1960's but are no longer required as machines are using Deep Learning Neural Networks have proved to be better than humans in reading not only fonts but pictures as well.

Thanks for the assistance, I have some good leads looking for "just the perfect font". I guess it's like the never-ending search for that perfect glue or forming tool...use what you have until something better comes along.

You know it's nothing new to be in the search of an appropriate font.
