Hi Georgia
I am no expert but it might be that not all your faces are joined in the obj file. It is a bit hard to tell without having the obj file. What software did you use to create the obj file.

Hi,
To add to Tilly's comment, you may also have double-sided faces on your model. Pepakura dislikes double sided faces. If your obj file is not too big, can you attach it to this thread? I'd like to look into it a bit further. Eric |

Hey Georgia. Looking at the clock I'm thinking this will get to you in the morning.
Here in Western Canada it's 10:40pm Anywho ... I looked at your design and saw the gap as well. I can't tell though if the gap was there before you asked Pepakura to unfold your chair or after. I have Cheetah 3D running on a Mac with OS X Yosemite. I used a primitive (a cube) and lopped off corners and stuff until I got something that kinda looked like your chair. Saved it as an Obj file and plunked it in Pepakura3 running on Windows XP (had to dodge some dinosaur footprints) and the attached image shows the result. The second image shows what the chair looked like before unfolding. The red lines show where Pepakura wants to cut your model apart. You have to be really careful that your faces are joined. If you are trying to stick a bunch of planes together instead of working from a solid that could cause problems too. Hope this helps. :-) Arno Last edited by Schwalbe; 01-05-2016 at 11:40 PM.
