Oooh, I like! Looks like the 'golf balls' we have @ Buckley AFB...

They cover & protect the Satellite antennas for Space Systems Command.

Perfect timing, I was looking for a way to make a small sphere and I guess this topic has given me the answer, thanks for the advice folks.
