lack of UV coordinate...

Hi all!
I have recently purchased a low poly 3d model of Rudolph from bitgem.com. My intention was to convert it into a paper model. There were various format. I imported .obj in metasequoia, I worked on the texture, on mapping, etc... Everything was working ok, but when I opened it with pepakura... the texture disappeared and no way to put it again on the model. The white lines in pepakura model in fact mean that there is a lack of UV coordinate (see attachment).
Maybe I am too ignorant, and the problem is simple to fix...
Can you help me?

Thanks a lot!

That's a good Rudolph likeness. There are quite a few of the bretheren here who can probably help with that.

My first guess would be the surface normals were flipped, the second guess would be pepakura may be looking at the wrong uv map or quadrant.

If you want me to have a look at the model, I may can help. I do quite a bit of 3d work on my job.

Also, did you try selecting the image map instead of that solid black color in that selection box that is shown in your screen grab attachment?

Thank you for your help.
ShadowCory,
this morning I repeat all the procedure for transforming the original file to .mqo and then to pepakura and, for some mysterious reason, everything is working well now.
Thanks again.
