axm61 - Uses Adobe Illustrator
I searched for "axm61" and found two threads that Alfonso X. Moreno has started here a papermodelers.
In this post he writes: http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/296844-post10.html These pics demonstrate the crude work I did in order to have a template so I can make the final design of the thruster area. This is only a prototype. I still need to insert the nozzles into the circular openings, and maybe I still need to reduce the elevation of the whole thing. I use Adobe Illustrator to design my models. It is a great tool. But there are similar vector graphic programs out there and for free such as Inkscape. Both Illustrator (paid software) and Inkscape (free software, open source) are 2D vector software, so the parts are drawn flat/unfolded. Pepakura Designer is not involved. -Steve |

Thank you, ssmeier but I thought he use more apps to design in 3D first and then do 2D
