Inkscape is a graphics program. If you are comfortable drawing out the flat developments of a paper model or recoloring someone else's model (with permission of the creator or simply for your own singular use), then Inkscape is a logical next step for adding graphics to your model.
There are many Inkscape tutorials here: https://inkscapetutorials.org . I found these to be helpful: https://fedoramagazine.org/getting-s...kscape-fedora/ . Searching Papermodelers.com will probably turn up some more paper modeling specific tutorials, too. If, however, you're looking for help in how to create the geometry in order to create the developments to fold and glue into a model, then Inkscape is not going to be of much use to you at this time. There are basically two ways to create the developments: (1) Drafting/Mechanical Drawing (or CAD) (2) Creating/Unrolling a computerized 3D model What specifically were you looking for? --jeff |
