Hey - can you do a detailed review of your machine and your process with photos and videos? I'm sure you have nothing better to do

Can you cut out pre-printed sheets?

very funny papercruiser! wish i had nothing better to do than build models all day long!
no unfortunately you cannot cut out pre-printed sheets with the emblaser. the supplied software, vectric cut-2d, like illustrator, can convert image files into vectors. you can then program the machine to cut or score along those lines on a blank sheet. hope this helps.

Perhaps the outline could be printed on the back of the model pages? Properly oriented of course.

I'm not going for this but I wonder if it is of interest to anyone else? There are a lot of others on offer too.

It's offered on Wish - Shopping Made Fun , but it's a big catalogue. You'll need to log in and search for 'Laser engraver'. Giving you a url for the page won't work unless you open an account.

I've been successfully shopping there for a month or two now with no complaints, but remember that it is all cheap Chinese/Asian gear and you get what you pay for. There's lots of FREE offers too, but check out the shipping cost before you commit.

1500 milliwatts = 1.5 watts.

Not really a whole lot you could do with something that small.

There are bigger machines on offer, but the prices get bigger too. I just thought the low cost one might be good for cutting card. Personally I have no mass production needs, and find snippin' with scissors very therapeutic.

Can you import corel vector files or do you have to convert them to another vector format? like inkscape svg?
