How to convert PDF templates to cutok files

I got a cutting plotter recently. Some templates are too elaborate so I want to usethe machine to cut them. But after trying for a long time, the result wasn't appealing. There were too many nodes and the shape was damaged. Could you give me some advice? Thanks for your help!

Vector scanning software generates too many nodes.
You may have to recreate your cut file using inkscape or another vector design software. This is what I wind up doing when trying to use my Scan n Cut.

Good luck...

What cutter did you get? If it's a Silhouette, there are a number of folks that do cutfiles that might be able to help you out.
