FG's Lanchester Armored Car
I really had a lot of fun doing this one for a change. :D The spoke wheels were a real BEAR!! However, they didn't come out to bad.

Looks great,Bob! I just finished this one myself, but I didn't even think of attempting the wire wheels. Seeing how much difference it makes on yours, I regret not trying!
Another wonderful job! Chris |

I had an old coax cable spool that had about 1/4" press boards for the outer rings. So I traced the wheels on that press board and actually cut them out using a jig saw, and then sanded down with rotary file. Did the spokes the same way as the spoke wheel tutorial I did. Cut out the tires from the plans and glued to the outside of the wheels to finish them off.

Bob --
This is really excellent. Having tried my hand at the Lanchester, I can appreciate your craftsmanship. The spoked wheels add a lot! Fine little diorama, as well. Don |

Hello Bob,
Your model is great and the wheels seem to be well done. Where did you find your figures ? |

Sorry Bob,
So, where did you find your soldiers ? They're looking very funny. Where takes the scene place ? Somme 1916 or in the north of France or in ireland during the 20ties ? Faithfully Valmy |
