Nano Music Room

Some of you may remember the two castles I made a few months ago. I liked them so much I bought another of their kits, not a building this time!

For those who have not seen these before, there is a series of small kits laser cut in various coloured card all about 3 1/2 inches square. The cutting is the finest I've seen in a card kit. some of the detail is almost invisible.

For the first round of pictures I have chosen close ups of some of the parts, followed by the completed model. It sits in a display "case" that comes with the kit, like the pages the box is 3 1/2 x 3 1/2.

Part 2

Here are the pictures of the finished model.

I made a few changes to the original. The carpet should be glued to the floor so the design shows through in white - I added a sheet of dark red to the "floor" then glued down the carpet. As yo will see from the above pictures the flower is folded in half but before I glued the halves together, I added a few drops of paint to the backing card, so, instead of a basically black picture the flower is red and green.

Apologies for the violin picture, my camera couldn't cope with its size - about 1/2 inch.

Needles to say, I've ordered a few more, although not those that cost over £100.!!!!

Cheers

Mike

Bravo, Mike. The vignette even includes some of my favorite books. But why are some of the book backs blank? And who makes these kits?

Rick,

Thanks for that - I didn't realise they had been going that long!

There are now quite a few more kits available, although, as I mentioned above some are over £100. I have no idea why - possibly something to do with mixed up exchange rates?

Cheers

Mike

Sorry Phil, I forgot to answer your question...... I have no answer! It seemed odd to me as well.

Perhaps they should have included a page of "rub down" letters in gold to make up your own titles;-)

Thanks for sharing this build, the details are just fantastic. The only time cats and papercraft mix well.
