How could she not be excited when she sees all this? Were the dinos hard to build?

What a wonderful way to share the joys of Christmas
with your loved ones. Just a thought,,, How about the F.G. flying Pterosaurs for the kids to fly around the house. PM me if you want them for the kids. They are easy to build, and really fly well. MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family, Gary |

For a kid who was in the ER until 1AM this morning, she was still excited.
And a non-science teacher is wanting me to talk to a couple other teachers in the district about dong some for classrooms. I'd want to re-work the kami-kami dinos so that the seams aren't so noticeable

Sorry to hear she was in the ER, but glad she is still excited. Sounds as if your Christmas project is a hit with others too! Congratulations! George

Please give my best wishes to your daughter. I know from experience that the ER can be a scary place for both children and parents waiting for the answers. I raised 3 kids and gave early child care to two grandchildren.
As to your models, they look like they jumped right off the movie screen! Those are superb models; I don't see how you can improve on them. John |

Thanks for the positive response. If you were to compare the color mis-match and seams on the Tyrannosaur to those of the Brachiosaur that I did, I think you would agree that there is room for improvement. What is acceptable for a playset for a six-year-old, would not be acceptable in a biology classroom or school research lab (didn't we used to call those libraries?)
I do feel that the beasties I designed are superior to the ones I based them from, but if I hadn't seen how the originals were done (and figured out mirror-printing on the backs to avoid glaring white), I'd have never come up with this concept, so I do appreciate the creativity of the kamikami folks And I did play with putting a santa hat on one of them, but it just didn't look right. I tried making a flat hat with a pocket for the head to slide into. I think it would be better to just make a hatted and hatless version, rather than my approach
