Gold Rush school project be aware may contain pl....c

Dear All:

I have been taking advantage at modeling in paper "helping" la patroncita (the little boss) with a gold rush project.
Which I did learn so much about the history of California in the process.
So we started looking at Old Sacramento:

model of the model

So, we started to do a diorama in 1/300 to explore the layout and what to include using the card buildings, cardboard, and scaled figures from the Junior General.
The final would be in 1/72 with pl....c figures.

The final

At the end we only used one of the buildings plus a small shack converted from paper toys on stereo foam.
We recruited the miners from Mr. Pegasus, some riders from Mr. Airfix, and one V.I. Lenin from Mr. Atlantic in 1/72ish scale.

The buildings inspired by Old Sacramento

I made the buildings as companions to my vehicles and planes in 1/300 and 1/400.
The format is in Ledger size.

The lift-off-landscape mine interior is a cool idea.

Next you’ll be making the papercraft head of Joaquin Murrieta! This is great.

It reminds me to let my local FB groups known I’ll take their California mission projects to use for D&D
