I hope to have this done by the time Papercuts ends, but it is looking doubtful. Here's what I hoped to have done

At lunch yesterday, I modified Monica's old warehouse into the boiler house, with the smokestack being modified from the Wordsworth Sand House. Quick build last night (I have to remind myself that if I do any more of her models, I need to move tabs around)

After dealing with the flooded basement and the washed out driveway, it was nice to sit down and build something. Next step is all those ground tiles. The squares marked with a 'G' are all grass. I'm using the Paper Realms tiles

I suppose I should point out that this was derived from the Old Warehouse Model 1493 at Edificios de Papel

Glad you are enjoying it. I've been a little disappointed with discussion on it, but then I see the view count and realize that many folks are following along.

I've always been intrigued with Steampunk and Victorian Sci Fi, but this is my first go at designing and building anything in that genre. As much as I enjoyed designing and building the Dodecagon House, I really enjoyed the research on the British Steam Carriages of the 1830's through about 1870. The little flyer that I threw together is suitably whimsical. And the little power plant that I threw together was very satisfying.

Almost all of the House design was done in less than 10 days. The flyer was less than two hours, and I threw together the kitbash of the power plant over my lunch hour yesterday, with time left to eat.

Now I'm doing the tedious part of doing the ground tiles. If I can get that pretty much out of the way, I'd like to get onto the trees tonight, but I doubt it. Since this is for a contest, I'm going to have to touch up some of the builds. Too many people handling the various models. I probably ought to get that out of the way tonight, instead of the ground tiles. Hey, it's not due until the 31st, so what's the rush?

And the entry is due today, so I took some photos

All I can say is; WOW! Looks fantastic. Your creativity never ceases to amaze me VK.
I have in the back of my mind doing an octagon house that once stood in my home town. So I was interested in your dodecagon house build. (Don't tell anyone, but I'm a fan of Steampunk myself.) Once more you've pushed the rest of us to 'up our game'.

Pssst -- don't tell anyone, but there are so many items I tried to design for this that ended up in the bin

Turned out really good. I was going to suggest sneaking a fancy looking compass rose tile in there somewhere but realized those usually have multiples of 8 points instead of just 12 points like a dodecagon has. Maybe a fancy looking clock face tile? With lots of gears?

Contest submissions end at 7 AM Anchorage time, so what I have is what I have at this point. Up against very strong competition this year, so I doubt I will win the kitbash portion, which is what I am in, but it was fun
