Don't forget to add on the postage and duty (shown on Amazon) when you are budgeting. I always forget.

The case is great and I do not think it is too high - you will with the height be able to view the model better.

What you could do though is look at some sort of backdrop - a simple landscape, and this would round off the impression and "fill the gap" visually.
I am working on the Swan right now, but work is not progressing fast at the moment.... Busy with other stuff.

About adding a backdrop, I was thinking of it but I think I leave the background empty. But i'm not sure of it right now. Let's see when its finished...

The paper horses are temporarily. I bought the preiser figures 88500 kit.
This will be another challenging painting these... never done that before.

I've been working on the painting of the figure set this weekend. It was a difficult job doing this for the first time. I bought the smallest pencil I could find and it still was too big for the job. But with some other tools it worked out fine. I also started building some attributes to make the scene more alive.

Figures came out nicely! Steady finger you have there

Any more progress or are you taking a well-earned break?

Your work is inspiring. Bought the kit and laser cut parts and now after seeing the great job you did with the figures and how much they improve the scenes I'll have to make another investment. Keep up the great work am following closely.

You have certainly produced a large harbor-side population!

This is going to be a wonderful diorama.
