Tesoro del Caribe

Here's something, hmm..., quite special I would say. This is my only paper model that hadn't been posted here. Cuban diorama, a restaurant/bar "TESORO DEL CARIBE"(Caribbean Treasure). Initially, I planned to make it much more detailed and use it as a diorama for my 1957 DeSoto(1957 DeSoto Fireflite - Somewhere in Santiago de Cuba). But the plans changed and I found a better way to display that car. The "TESORO DEL CARIBE" project was cancelled at something like 50%.
I didn't like how it looked at that 50% of the initial plan but I liked it enough to not throw it away. And what you see today, is that 50% of the initial project. Completed very quickly, with many cancelled parts of it. I decided to build it in that condition just beacuse of the textures. Just because of this one thing.

I remember that Sergio(Vinalssergio155) helped me a lot with the Spanish language in this project. I wanted to make sure that the "TESORO DEL CARIBE" is an absolutely correct name.

That diorama was built somewhere in May or June 2019.
It's fully from scratch.

Very nice Kacper diorama! Even if it is only 50% of the original project, you did another magnificent job. I remember when you asked me about the subject, more than a year has passed? How quickly time passes!

Thanks Philip and Sergio.
And yes, the time goes really fast. Sometimes I can't believe that something happened two, five or ten years ago...

Very nice Tesoro del Caribe, now it is in my to do list: visiting Cuba and maybe a diorama about it!
