My First Hangar Diorama
This was a little difficult at the time and I did it on plain Black & white on A4 office stationery. Now I'm going to attempt the same on art card 170gsm and in colour. I now have the perfect aircraft to put in this Hangar too: a JU-87 Stuka.
This one has a Maisto Tailwinds Mig-29 Fulcrum. Turquoise Chill: Sunday Project: Hangar 1 Regards Rohit

it's nice, but I don't think Hangar doors are supposed to accordian fold lol.
try printing the individual panels of the doors on cardstock and laminate/stairstack (stack so that half of the one underneath shows) |

The accordian fold doors are accurate, I too have seen many photos of older hangars with these doors...but maybe only accurate to certain countries? or periods?
If you are trying to accurately represent WW2 German or European hangars, you might have to check into the use of this type of folding door. only thing wrong with this hangar model is the doors are not folding along a track...they are swinging inwards as they are folding, which is wrong. I always thought the "plane and hangar" diorama was one of the best display ideas.

On further inspection, that particular model's doors should look a bit different - more like an accordion as noted and as Dave said - along the track. However, a lot of doors use sliding panel tracks as well, and from one of the picture angles, it looked very much like the tracked doors.
