Thanks Isaac!

Schlepper! Now I know what to call it.

By the way, I have one of the Reichdreams eBook that featured the diagrams for the P.13 as well as its Schlepper. And your picture of the Orlik Schlepper seems to have been based on those diagrams. Now for my question --- would you know or have an idea what that red tank is for?

Guess for braking? It maybe contained presurased air or someting?

It was a challenge to assemble that trolley / schlepper. But I'm happy to say that the model is finally done!

Now I just need to clean up the diagrams before uploading to the files section.

Looks really good. Do you know what type(s) of fuel the P.1080 used? Just curious.

Thanks!

The P.1080 is powered by a pair of Lorin Ramjets. It's possible that it would have used the same kind of fuel that was planned for the Lippisch P.13 --- charcoal dust.

I believe you, as the trolley contains many small parts.
Congratulations, great work!

Another interesting Luft 46 project.

What are your intentions regarding this plane? Are you going to develop it further, add interiors, or move on to the next project?

Isaac

I've frequently come across that info while trawling through the different websites that talk about the Lippisch P.13. For some strange reason, I can't seem to find the correct article / resource in my bookmark list. :(

Anyway, the theory was that when distributed correctly, charcoal dust can also provide combustion + propulsion. (And probably a lot of black smog...hehe)

Isaac
I still don't have enough design mojo to work on cockpit internals. But I do have that activity in my to-do list... someday.

For now, I'll be moving to a next project.
