Wow. I've never seen the process followed through quite like that, it looks great!

Thanks!

Unlike my previous design threads, this one was more of a post-work-log diary. I wrote it all in one sitting. This allowed me to keep a consistent train of thought across multiple posts.

My previous threads were all written on the fly as I designed my models. Hence, the pacing and updates were inconsistent. And sometimes, stops altogether when I hit a dead end or lose interest.

Anyway, I tried to make the process as detailed as possible and at the same time, not overwhelming. I'm hoping this will encourage others to take up the art of designing models!

Thanks!
Diagrams and instructions uploaded and awaiting approval.

Really envy you folks who have mastered a CAD program. Card modelling is the ultimate scratch building.

Very nice build. Very clean. Thank you for taking us through the design process.

You did a really awesome job on the landing gear. Having issues in 2D trying to create the same.

Thanks everyone!

RE: model design
Well, I developed my 3d design skills through the tutorials shared by the members of this community.
Sharing my designs is my way of giving back.

Thank you very much Eric, this will go into my PAAC/PAF collection! Haven't seen the file contents yet, but don't sweat the instructions. I'm sure the more experienced builders will help out when they can .

Edit:
Very nice! This will go well with my PAAC recolor of Gary Pilsworth's Beech model 18 that I uploaded here. Now I'm thinking about a PAAC Stearman recolor!
