Done with the skinning!

I chose RLM 65/75/76 for the color scheme, and I used the JG3 squadron insignia.

Here are some shots of the paint job:

I'll be doing a little more refinements on the markings before I do my final beta build.

After that, we're all done.

Eric,

I really like your choice of colors and insignia. It is hard to tell from the picture...are you going to do any "weathering" or "right out of the factory"? Either way I think this is going to be a real gem!

Thanks!

I'd love to do weathering...but I've no idea where to start. :( I might end up overdoing it.

However, I'd like to place Staffeln and Gruppen markings as well as victory bars on the wing tips. I'll see how I can fit this in.

Anyway, is it a requirement to have the Balkenkreuz on the fuselage? I know I can't put it under the wing...so the only place left is the front of the fuselage where the JG insignia is located.

All done!

I'm still alive!
Phew...what a busy month. I was only able to steal a couple of hours each weekend to work on this.
Finally, I can proudly say I'm done!

Here are some pictures:

Grrrr! I washed my hand. I 'thought' I completely dried my hands already.. I failed to notice that I accidentally wet the area just after the cockpit. Too late....

I'll still need to work on the assembly instructions before I can make the diagrams available though.
However, if you're willing to decipher the instructions using Pekapura, send me a PM and I'll send you the raw PDO file.
:D
