F-14 fuselage help

I am trying to mount the front fuselage to the body/wing assembly but after i form the piece there is a big gap between the fuselage and mounting points any help would be great

If its a fiddles green f14 it would come out like this. Its not so well made, as a firsttimer, but it would give you an idea....

Don't get too frustrated though. The Fiddlersgreen F-14 is at the top of the list of models that need a redesign.

F-14 fuselage help

I put it on hold for a little while but thanks I will give it another try soon I was ha sing a hard time with the upper part of the fuselage. It did not attach correctly. Nyhanks for the help

There is only one way to connect this fuselage together.
Like you see in the first photo posted by Mexx,
you must wrinkle/bend/distort the underside of the fuselage between the intake ports.
I tried to build this one, I didn't like the way it went together...I got frustrated and tossed it.

The F-14 is the only Fiddlersgreen model that I've been unable to build. And we calculated once that I built over 1000 of them in the 5 years that I had a desk job that let me build.
