I was so impressed with the B-24 I just had to gave Chip some more of my business. I just picked up the entire Bomber disk....WOW! what a bargain...There are multiple versions of 13 different Bombers included Plus LOTS AND LOTS OF EXTRAS!
for example: the B-29 includes the Bell X-1 and the Fat Man Atomic Bomb...The B-36 Includes the MK-17 H Bomb plus markings for about 7 other aircraft...It gets BETTER....The BUFF includes the X-15 and if that were not enough there are also 4 different Tomahawk cruse missiles to choose from.....And I can't forget the two versions of the cute little van that's included with the Airco DH4. Oh and 3 months of magic keys too boot....More than enough models to keep me busy for a very long time.

.....GO CHIP!

Kevin you will love the Buff, I built it with the x-15 on the wing and it is one of my favorite builds to look at hanging from the ceiling. I built the b-29 much reduced and gave it to a vet who was a bombadier on one...someday I'll have to make the full size bird! The b-17 goes together well also, I have to agree those are great models on that disc!

I've finally read through all the posts for the FG contest, you guys sure do talk a lot;-), and I've decided to give this a shot.

I'm a Lifetime member with Chip so I haven't 'bought' anything for a while, although I still do make cash donations to the cause on a regular basis.

I've decided to try building the Sikorsky S-39 Flying Speed Boat in 1:48 "Spirit of Africa" markings. From what I could tell, no one else has selected this model to build for the contest. And if you have then I guess we'll just have to see who can build it better!!

Up and running... If you haven't made it over to Fiddler's Green lately, you ought to rectify that! Chip's got some amazing things over there...

Now, on to my question...

I'm not sure which category in which to enter my build!

I'm not repainting, but I am using colored card stock, with a very little bit of editing to make some of the lines a little more crisp, and some different types and textures of paper. Does that count as modded, or improved stock? :D
