Cool, I am in with my all time favorite FG model (of the ones I have done) the ME-109. Research time! I want something on the Eastern Front. I am thinking diorama, small scale, three or more planes...but I will have to see how much time I can make! Scaling multiple planes from FG to the same scale for a Diorama is going to be a pain in the rear for the mathematical challenged like myself!

If I do skip the diaram and go with one plane, detail adding is OK? For example, I I am now about done with a FG Me-109 with "glass" canopy and a full cockpit, but the cockpit was from Roman's (der Kampfflieger) vary nice ME-109 F-4 model, and so are the walls to th new wheel wells. (Gimp is a wonderful toy!) So, as that build was a great practice run (Cockpit was just slightly out of scale with plane) and I choose to do something similur but with more details added, that would be OK?

This will be fun! I actually have access to a good camera and ink, card and glue! All I need now is time!

Since there are fewer categories i would like to change my prize offerings. $20 to first place, $10 to second place. Prize doubled if spent exclusively at FG. This is a prize per category

Since someone asked you can do whatever you want with the prize money if yo dont take the offer of double at FG

Thanks Chris! That just reinforces my earlier statement that you are a real asset to the card modelers community!

Since this has been a common topic lately, I just uploaded a scale calculator to the downloads for use in the competition and any other FG build. Check out the thread here:

I would like you to wait until Monday, this gives others the time to decide if they want to join or what they want to build

That way there is no pressure on others, and might turn someone away who was thinking of building the same model as you
