I just knew something like this would happen! Why do you guys always think up these awesome contests when I finally get settled down and start making good progress on my Sherman Tank?... This time I said to myself..NOTHING is going to come between me and that darn Sherman....and now this!

I'm such a sucker for contests, it's just too hard to say NO. But, who says you can't have two things on the go at the same time. After all, one is a tank and the other is an airplane.. So I think I'm OK....Right? Anyway, I will deliberate over the weekend, do a little shopping over at Fiddlers Green, and let you all know what I choose on Monday.

BTY...I wonder if Chip ever considered the possibility of some type of prepaid FG gift card..? If he did, I would certainly consider donating one as a prize for this contest. Just a thought.

Kevin,

Look at the contest and the models as a sorbet, cleanse the palate and keeps you hungry for the Sherman

You do have a point there, Rick...it's just too bad my idea of sorbet is a giant hot-fudge sundae or a banana split. :D

Well, I may not actually participate but the Oldtroll's generosity (and warehouse of unbuilt kits) is almost boundless so I will add a few published (i.e., printed) models of an aviation nature to the barrel of prizes. Rick, I will get with you via PM in the next week or so to discuss what, when, where for the OT donated prizes.

It's a good thing I didn't sponsor this contest or I would have limited the tools to one child-safe pair of scissors, a wooden ruler and flour-and-water paste only!

Ron,

Thank you very much, I also have Lauren(Ashrunner) willing to donate prizes too.

That could be the next Old Troll challenge :D

Rick

Am I right in that you can enter multiple times? Not that I would...my glacial speed when it comes to building leads me to wonder if I can complete even One for the contest; I was just wondering.
