This is great. I like the way everyone helps out. I wish my line of work would be that understanding.

To use, just enter the WSAM % as a whole number into the orange box. The current scale if printed at 100% is listed next to it in yellow. In the blue area we have the percentage to print at in order to get to common scales. If your intended scale is not listed, enter it in the dark blue box and the percentage is calculated.

I uploaded the file to the English Instructions section of the Downloads page. Zip file contains both an ODS and XLS formatted spreadsheet - both are the same.

Good luck to all in the competition!
did an almost same thing but i added
variable up or downscaling print percentage - i e from x scale to y scale
WSAM print percentage - i e from x scale to WSAM scale
fixed up/down scaling print percentage - i e from A4 to A3 or vice versa

if you want to i can put it up as well

i was just thinking... in relation to my diorama of the ME109 and Spitfire
as it doesn't state original scale just that if you print at x% then you get WSAM-1/60
how do i calculate backwards?
i e i have a model at original scale x, and if printed at 64% i get 1/60 scale but what is scale x?

Håkan, if you're looking for the original scale of the model if you were to print at 100%, look at the scale listed in orange. In my example, if WSAM=88%, printing at 88% gives you 1/60, but the current 100% print would give you 1/52.8.

Talking At Long Last

As a new member of this group I must express my surprise that there are others who have a strange passion (to quote my wife) such as paper modelling. My interest is in WWI aircraft and have been with Fiddler's Green for several years. I found this group through a search for a WSAM scale converter, which I have found. Thank you.
