Okay, order in the court...

Here's the beginnings of the collar/neck assembly. Gonna be interesting to see how this part comes together...Army man is ready to lend a hand to get himself put together.

Here is the upper torso assembly that the neck/collar assembly will attach to.

Some more work on the upper torso, with the neck/collar assembly added. So far, so good. No fit problems to report. Just cut, score, fold and glue carefully and things go together perfectly.

Here is the right arm attached to the torso. This assembly presented the first real fit problem so far. I began gluing the tabs on the arm to the torso and things were okay till I got to the last two and realized that the two assemblies weren't going to match up properly. I ended up having to force fit the last glue tab, resulting in some deformation of the arm at the attachment point. Fortunately it is in a location that is not really too noticeable, being in the rear of the armpit area.

This pic shows the problem area; sorry I don't have any way to circle or highlight it, but I think you should be able to see it here...it left a little triangular hole which I covered from the inside with a piece of colored cardstock.

The accuracy of this model is quite impressive. Is this a die-cut model or are you doing the cutting?

Every part in this kit must be cut out.

It's coming on nicely cardmodeler. I've done a few of the 3DPaper models, and they do go together nicely. The Archer and European Knight always draw comments from people who admire them.

Looking forward to see the rest of the model go together.
