Ok, done with the shotgun too. It didn't warp as bad as the rifle. But in the future if I'm going to build the rifle or the shotgun again. I would add formers to keep them from warping. The original shotgun barrels design was closed. Don't looks so good to me, so I cut it open before I glued them. Looks much better with open barrels then closed barrels, I think.

Maybe try put a copper wire in the hand, redesigning all the joints is not a bad idea too.

And great build, i love wanzers. Here's missing only a pilot, smoking cigarettes near the wanzer foot.

Tips for you, Squirrel. But you have to stay off my pomegranates tree. Loquat tree is fair game to you and your buds.

I would glue #44 &#45 first before insert #43 in section-24. Add one more layer of card stock inside #43 in section-23 for extra support.

In section-31 & section-47 . I didn't like the way #L56 &#R56 assemble. As is, you may not get strong bond on the back side of #L/R56, to #L/R55. Both #L/R56 will carry a lot of weight and only it back side glue to the body(see section 86). So that part have to be extra strong. Check my photos on 2nd post, bottom role. I think that break down is better then the original design. You get very good gluing surface to the back of L/R56 and good bond to part L/R55.

In section-36&51. I didn't glue the fingers together at that point. Wait till you finish the weapons you want it to hold first, then glue the fingers to the weapon. I didn't glue my at all. Cause the arms are too weak to hold itself up, and I don't want to glue the fingers to the weapons permanently.

In section-61&73. Glue #L/R90 to part L/R89 first before before you box it in# 88, or you may have a hard time inserting part L/R90 later. In fact, I glued all the parts to L/R88 first before I closed it.

Section-68&79. Don't glue or insert #107. Wait till you finished gluing section-65&81 to the feet first(in sections 69&82). Cause, if you closed #103 with #107, that will make it harder gluing sections-65&81 to #103. Cause you can't get your finger inside #103 to help holding section-65&81 in place.

Many thanks to you and everyone! But I just put the kit together. The designer(s) did a great job on the design too!

Terrific detailed build! I didn't realize how large the model is until I saw the "hand in hand" photo. I love the personalized pilot name and nose art - really sets it apart. Congratulations on a really great model.
