Anyway, just started the build and here are some pics...

Pic 2: Parts shaped and test-fitted.
Pic 3: Parts glued.

Some of the parts in the arm assembly are quite fiddly... somehow I managed to build them but I'm not quite satisfied with the results... ah well, now I just wanna finish it and see how it turns out... chalk up the build experience :(

Thanks, Getter... but I still think I could have done better...

Now, more updates on the build

Torso and hip... not much to say there, simple build.

Then assemble the parts together

Next up is the head - very fiddly!

The dreaded head! Sigh...

Anyway, its very fiddly and I think I should have used thinner paper, but well, what's done is done and so, on to the pics...

Put them all together and it's completed!

I did add some parts and mods to the model as I thought it would be nicer - I was right!

Mods done:
  • Made arms and head able to rotate, original plans made the arm fixed but able to 'bend' outwards (I still kept that feature) and the head was fixed.
  • Added a 'cover' to the top of the torso, under the flap for the head join.

Scyeige:
I don't see anything wrong with the head.
I love the colors, very intense.
How did you print it? white paper with ink jet? or did you used some color paper?
I looks terrific.
