Building smooth Midna trophy

Hello I am currently building the Midna trophy from SSBB!

Though it is not a papercraft per se. I glued the parts on polystyrol sheets, and filled them with plaster. Then I can file the whole thing to get a smooth look. I guess I wanted to try to make my papercraft models a) more durable, b) smoother. Ideally one shouldn't be able to see a huge difference to a bought figurine/statue. Additionally I built some extra details also and later I will paint the whole model. Currently I am almost ready to paint. The build model is 12 inches tall, including the helmet.
So this is my pepakura layout. I do not need flaps, since my the edges can be glued to one another (my sheets are about 0.5mm thick).

Some WIP..., the "papercraft" parts under the plaster can be seen.

All parts put together just to see how it looks:

And this is the current state of the body:

Not strictly papercraft, but I can tell it is going to be a great model

Thank you! I know it is not strictly a papercraft, but there is a full papercraft model hidden inside that plaster. Can't wait to start painting it.
I just built an eye:

Great build and no need to worry about not being a purist, I also use what is available for my builds and a paper model does give a ready mesh to fine tune and smooth those areas that are hard to contour with paper. Standing by to see the final product.

What type of plaster are you using for this?

It's a regular plaster that is supposed to be used to fix walls, though there are probably much better suited alternatives.
