Johnny:
Those R2's are not mine, i wish they were...
Although I will use that template to build mine, with some minor modifications.
Regarding Minion Fett, I had the same concern you have regarding the eyes/googles.. until I found someone else solution...

The idea is really clever... you don't lose Bobba Fett stance and you can tell it's a minion.!!

I hope to advance a lot today.... I am building the breath mask for Vader Minion. YES, i am that tardy with this project.

Hope you are building something today.

Yep, that Minion Fett helmet does work. Well done. I look forward to it.

Whilst you're playing with R2D2, you could try a minion head atop the hull. It might work.

Nil Minion progress here I'm afraid, but your Adolf and Trooper are still top of the pile before I proceed with Jabba. I'm still in quite a bit of pain, and still trying to elbow a workspace in around the new furniture. I have sited and set up the laptop though, so I'm getting nearer.

The laptop has also been upgraded from XP to W7 ultimate., in preparation for W10 pro when it arrives, but getting suitable W7 drivers for this old Medion proved a bit troublesome. I had to delve into an XP back up file to persuade all the Motherboard facilities to play, and the same source provided a driver to switch on the WiFi. So I have my doubts that the Lappy will be able to go on to W10, and I doubt I'll be moving the main 'puter onto W10 either, until it's settled in a lot better than it seems to be doing.

I finally got to see the Minion Movie last night (Told ya one of my son's would have a wonky copy). I blushingly must admit to falling asleep during it and lost the plot a bit (Well I am over 70 ya know ). So I guess I'm just gonna have to watch it again now, eh?

I might not be currently producing anything, but I'm still watchin' ... so keep 'em comin' guys. There's plenty of inspiration out there. I've got quite a collection in my 'inspirations' file now. Such as the YMCA song characters, and there's plenty of Super heroes to go yet. If anyone wants to give them a go, please do.

Dear motorcyclemodeler:
R2D2 had the one lens so should lend its self to Minionazation and the bounty hunters could be done with regular minion heads and holding the helmet under the arm? just some thoughts
Enjoy,
Miles

Johny, I already had that in mind since the beginning...

Miles, I kind of have problems creating believable arms for the minions, not to say arms holding real objecta like a helmet... that is the main reason why I didn't ever 'equiped' the TrooperMinions with guns... I did the guns...but then, I did not found a proper way for them to hold them and keep the regular 2D design of their arms.

Best Regards

Last pic I remember seeing in this thread was the proposed Boba Fett Minion and it's still there.

I just right clicked and hit properties on the X, and found the photo when I put it in my browser.

Let's see if it will post...

Nope, but here is the link: http://www.figurerealm.com/userimage...00/64049-1.jpg

That's odd. It opens for me. Can you get to it using the right click/properties method?
