I found a nice Panda suit (Well I like it!) but I'm not too sure if it would suit a Minion.

Dear Johnny:
Granted the minion girl figure would not be so curvy but the final product would be ?Cute?
Be positive,

While looking for the panda-minion thing.... i found several StarWars related minions
Yoda

Greedo

And Ackbar

And then....... I found THESE!!!

If I even try to do them, all will have to be StarWars characters.
Something like THIS ... or THIS.

I guess the plastic 3D printer geeks are even more into Minion mania than us paper boys, eh? I love the Chess set idea, but who or what would be the inspiration for an opposition? From a modeller's point of view just two different coloured armies of Minions just wouldn't do. So I think I'll continue my interest as individual interesting characters, not sets of connected ones.

I've always tended to fixate on individual characters, such as Darth Vader and the Storm Troopers from Star Wars, but I'm not really a Star Wars fan. I have many favourite cartoon characters that totally steal the show for me. Like Pascal in Tangled, Thumper in Bambi, The Bluebirds in Snow White (but I do admit to falling for SW herself), Gus-Gus in Cinderella, The dragon in Sleeping Beauty, Mushu in Mulan, Boo in Monster's Inc ... etc, etc.

I loved the films, but I really can't put a finger on a Toy Story favourite. The Kids in Gruesome Me, were kinda cute, but of course the Minions completely stole the show, and are so delightfully redressable into many other characters, without losing the basic minion charm. So let's not deviate too far off course here, eh?

3D printer? How much is it? I think 3D printing is pretty cool, but I prefer making something myself.

I'm thinking about recolouring Bruno's minions and get a purple minion, or making a set of Kevin, Stuart and Bob with the "G" removed....

Subtle point N96, 3D printers make Pla**ic fings, an' this is a PAPER forum! Yeah, of course I'd love one, but the cheapest 3D printer I've seen yet is £315 plus VAT. Still way too much for the little use I'd give it, but I am still being tempted by a 3D Printing Pen at £49 plus VAT.

If you look back to my #9 post, you'll see a couple of purple Minions among my gang. These were 1/4 size shrinks of available Paper Replika models, with wool hair added. Not too successfully, but adequate in this size.

I was wandering through the local Walmart, and saw a Spongebob display, and a Minions display, next to each other. For some reason...

I'm gonna call him SpongeBob Square Minion.

Maybe I need to start drinking...
