Great job Eduardo! I love the look. It should be dynamite with the cape. R2D2 next so,,,what's in line after that, C3P0?

Is that Mauther's repaint of the Spoonful version of R2D2?

I'm not sure which version you are referring to. I used two different version to see which on renders better in smaller scales One is the model from Paper-Replika.. here The other version is from the site of Shunichi Makino SF Papercraft Gallery One seems to be 1:6 scale and the other 1:12, I am not sure. I reduced them to 32% and 50 % respectively, in order to measure 6 cm aprox. Where can I find this version that you mention?? |

Yours is definitely rounder, but I thought the color looked like Mauther's, PAPERMAU: Star Wars - R2D2 Paper Model - by Disney Family - Rescaled To 1/6 And Custom Textures by Papermau

I see why you were mistaken. I printed them on B&W since it was just a mock-up build to check scales and viability. Final versions will be on color, with some metallic paper added on. And my plan is to build as many as different Astromech as possible. I will open a thread very soon. |
