Well, two Dave's apart, there's not a lot of participation in this thread, but I've just noticed the 'view count' ...

I guess there's just a few shy voyeurs, eh?

I have no problem admitting what I use the Internet for. lol

I'm just not that thrilled with a cartoonish cartoon.
I like "normal" Jessica.
I'm just not feeling this "chubby" version.

This is not a criticism of the designer of the art.
Just not my choice for a paper Jessica Rabbit.

Ready, steady, go ... 6 pages of A4 and 6 pages of A3 all printed and lookin' good. (Pages 7 & 8 are printed on reverse sides).

Going by the size of the eyes, this was gonna be a big model at the A4 size. It's gonna be massive with an A3 body. P'raps maybe I shoulda gone for an A4 body with an A5 head, but I guess my wobbly old fingers should be able to manage the bigger size better.

Halfway through the Beta Blockers packet now, but no noticeable improvement in my fingers and feet. I guess I'm gonna have to start preppin' my psyche to accept that I just might be stuck like this for life now.

If I can get through this build OK, I guess finishing the WoW Tiger could be next. If you're tuned in here Pete (Eatcrow) ... Did ya ever manage to finish off your one?

Hee Hee ! View count is over 400 now, and I ain't built a boob yet. ;-)

Printed this out myself, as I know someone who'll love this beauty. I like the big head.. makes it more "over the top" cartoonie! (my new made up word for the week)...

Hi Peter.... and the Tiger ????

Mine is still exactly where I last posted on it, but it still peeps out from behind my chair occasionally to remind me he's still there.

Hee Hee ! Over 500 now.

View count gone well over 600 now ...

I've been busy hacking down and mowing my lawn (a long overdue first cut of the season), and the vibration of the machines is rendering my damaged hands quite useless for modeling, but someone's gotta do it.

So sorry guys, but I got nothin' to show you. I have cut out a few bits, but so far nothing is glued together. There are no instructions for this so I'm just gonna have to wing it. I decided to do the head first, starting from the eyes and work outwards from them, but already the nose is puzzling me.

So I'm gonna have to set the laptop up on the work table, so that I can have the .pdo 3D view available during the build. This again still gives some problems ... 'cos the hair covers half the face, blocking the view.

I've now sussed a way round this though ... Clicking on a part in the 2D view brings up an isolated view of it in the 3D view, so I can zoom in on it to get a proper look behind the hair.

Now not a lot of people know this, but Jess does actually have two eyes.

Eye, eye ...

Slow progress I know, but my fingers are really hurtin' now. I've had to put gloves on to type this, but it's time for another pill, so hopefully the pain will subside a bit so I can use the knife 'n' fork to eat me dinner.

I think I've chosen the right place to start this. I'd hate to try to form that cute little nose with any more parts wrapped around it. I started with the nose onto the eyes, then added the cheek bones. Very helpful having an uncoloured extra print to try out the folds before committing the coloured parts.

Going for the mouth and chin next I think ... so she can sit and stare at me for the rest of the build. Sorta glad Mike didn't give that hidden eye a wink though.
