Decided to build these as a separate unit, and then attach to the body.. smart move, as they ended up looking pretty good.

Small update.. Finished the dress. As I want the dress to be a different tone then the skin, I sprayed muti coats of Future onto the dress, for more of a shiny/sparkly look. Gives some contrast compared to the skin .. I think it looks a lot better.

Lookin' good Peter. Luvin' the shiny bits ... Honest admins ... BITS ... I said BITS.

There's some nice tight seaming and edging going on here too. Are you using the normal tabs, or flush taping them?

Having already done the shoulders myself, I predict that you might have worked into a bit of corner Peter. Forming the shoulders onto just the chest I found it quite difficult to access the tabs for the neck, and my body is twice the size of yours. Attaching the arms to the shoulders is gonna be fun too, so I think I'll be addressing them before I narrow any further towards the waist.

Well I did the gloves, and they're not the best modeling I've done. Fingers were a pain in the rear.. After completing them, I manage in my clumsy/idiot way to get a water mark on one of them. Not wanting to go through building again, I painted them with a violet acrylic. Maybe they'll look better once added to the body.
I like doing figures, I'm just not good at them..
