David:
Your model skills are wonderful.
You have skillful hands, making that dome head to look so neat is not an easy task.
And sharing the hobby with your son is the best way to enjoy it.
Spettacolare!!

Very nice indeed!
The cuts are very clean and neat.
Keep on it!

I use water based hobby paints. Apply sparingly with a small brush. Works very well

As you can see in my signature, I'm not a fast builder... but I promise I'll post more pictures as soon as I make progress

In the while, just yesterday I had a problem that I reported in the lounge session.

Small progress... The upper part of the left leg is done. I managed to restore the edges of the cracked print on the blue part, but then I've tried going too far by filling the edges on the white part, and that's where I messed up. I used a toothpick with a tiny drop of black paint on it... don't know what type of paint it is, it came with a cast set for kids, the kind where they can make mould of their own hands and paint it. If I'm going down this path again, maybe next time will be using something softer: the toothpick's tip didn't allow paint to easily "be transfered" over the paper.

Bye!
