Hello everyone!

This is the papercraft I'm introducing my 5yrs son into nerdness with :D

I'm new to modeling, so any comment/adviced is more than welcomed. Thanks!

Looks pretty good! Only thing I'd suggest is what was suggested to me when I posted my first model: color the white edges and folds, e.g. with a felt tip pen. It doesn't have to be an exact match to make the model look a lot better. Go darker rather than lighter if you can't match exactly. Gray or black can still produce a good result if you can't find the right color.

Welcome to the hobby! Excellent choice of subject, too :D

Thank you guys!

The tip about colouring edges is fantastic... might poster paint serve as well? I have many of it, maybe with a pointy brush and some patience I could get the same results with a greater variety of colours...

You can use whatever you feel comfortable with to color the edges. People use felt tip pens, colored pencils, water colors, acrylic paint, pastel chalk, etc. Some of those might not stick to the paper without some kind of sealer, though. I use colored pencils made by Prang or Prismacolor, and oil pastels to do my edging.

As Dabeer mentioned sometimes just a shade of gray or plain black will work so you do not have to match the color of the part.

@SCEtoAUX
I see I have great freedom... I like this thanks!

@Enrico
Third, actually. The first two were free-to-download models from Fiddlersgreen, a Piper Cub and a Mig-3, which both crashed once in my kids's hands. They weren't worthy any pictures anyway :P
