Good work Peter. This model seems to have a gritty, dark aura and the outfit appears homemade. Guess he spent all of his money developing his shield......

shield...

Built the shield.. My first effort on the right, I did out of the same weight paper as the figure. Came out looking like $#@^.. So I re-printed it on heavier cardstock, and edge glued everything. Big inprovement IMO. Will make my own strapes/handles later.

Left is good.. right is a loser.

Base..

Making up my own base using a lid filled with a cement mix.. added a felt bottom when dry. Painted with Xtracolor "Bright Blue" enamel. Drys quick and goes on well with a brush. Plus this biue sort of resembles the Army Air Corp color from the 30s. Put pegs in the bottom of the boots.. drilled out holes in the base, and did a test fitting. Cut out from the kit base the logo, which I will glue to the top later.
