I got quite a collection of Spitfires and some P-51 Mustangs in 1:33.
Do you think you will make a RAF and a USAF pilot anytime soon?

Cheers, Martin

Hi Sparrowhawk,

Next pilots I will create are the americans, and after the RAF, they will be ready at the end of this month, I invite you to download one of the pilots to be familiar with the assembly process.

Regards

Hi Paul,

thanks for your quick reply.
I just registered on your site. You should clearly visibly state payments are done by Paypal. As this is very widely accepted it could get more fellow modelers to register and buy.
I have to transfer some cash to my Paypal account first: I like to keep it empty to minimize the risk of abuse by hackers.

Cheers, Martin

I have purchased the Luftwaffe pilots and I think they are very cleverly done. For the head I plan to bevel the edges of the cut parts and may add an extra layer of 67 lb (120 gsm) paper to some of the layers to widen the head. The heads made with the 1mm stock look too round for me. After sanding the face to eliminate the layering I will use acrylic gesso to fill gaps and smooth out the facial features. At least that's the plan, but the plan may change once the knife cuts the paper.

Paul I would suggest adding a tan officers summer hat and a side cap (overseas cap) these are often seen in photos of the Luftwaffe pilots.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the report, I am doing a "HD head" with more layers in 120 gr paper, so if you want to wait for your plan to try the new heads.

About the hats and complement, yes, my purpouse is to have a lot of models and complements.

thanks again!
